Hangzhou Changgaung Industrial Technology Research Institute held its unveiling ceremony on July 5 and welcomed the settlement of its first batch of enterprises.

WANG Min, Party Secretary of the Binjiang High-tech District, and Dr. JIA Ping, Director of the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave speeches at the ceremony.

Mr. WANG pledged local government support for the institute and said its establishment was another achievement for Binjiang, which is a national high-tech industrial zone.

Dr. JIA thanked Mr. WANG and other Binjiang officials for their strong support. He expressed confidence in the future development of Hangzhou Changguang in Binjiang, which is one of the most economically dynamic regions in Hangzhou. He mentioned three expectations for the future development of Hangzhou Changguang Industrial Technology Research Institute: seek common development with Binjiang, achieve fast development, and contribute to the regional cooperation between Jilin and Zhejiang provinces.

After the ceremony, the leaders and guests visited the enterprises in Binjiang area and had in-depth communication with company executives.
