Changchun Changguang KingCera Composites Co.,Ltd. was founded by a group of optical and structural materials scientists and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The company specializes in the R&D and production of high performance silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics and relevant composites. Its products have broad market prospects, as they are widely used in equipment manufacturing, including photoelectricity equipment, precise instruments, high speed railway equipment, new energy vehicles, etc. As core materials or components, their products have also been equipped on several high-tech payloads, such as the “Jilin-1 Satellite”.

The core team of KingCera has about twenty-year experience in silicon carbide ceramic composite materials research, and participated in the development of a 4.03m SiC mirror, the largest in the world.
