Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS )was founded in 1952. Led by a group of scientists represented by Wang Daheng and Xu Xurong, CIOMP has created more than 10 “The First in China” such as the first ruby laser and the first large theodolite. More than 1700 research projects have been completed, among which 450 projects have been ...

Aligned ordered microbelts film with the lowest amplified spontaneous emission threshold was prepared in Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
It is of great sicentific interest to achieve electrically pumped organic lasers, which could open up the prospect of compact, low cost (even disposable) visible lasers suitable for applications from the point of care diagnostics to sensing. Recently, aligned ordered microbelts film with the lowest amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) threshold was prepared in Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which provide a usefully material candidate to achieve low threshold electrically pumped organic lasers. The ideal organic laser materials for electrically pumped organic lasers should possess high fluorescence efficiency, high carrier mobility and low ASE threshold. Well aligned ordered π-conjugated structure with large ...
