Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS )was founded in 1952. Led by a group of scientists represented by Wang Daheng and Xu Xurong, CIOMP has created more than 10 “The First in China” such as the first ruby laser and the first large theodolite. More than 1700 research projects have been completed, among which 450 projects have been ...

Design of off-axis two mirror ophthalmic lens for fundus camera
In order to eliminate the undesirable light such as scatter light and central ghost in a classical fundus camera, an off-axis two-mirror ophthalmic lens was designed, with large field of view and large working distance. An unobstructed, reflective ophthalmic lens was designed to avoid scatter light and central ghost in the refractive optical system. By using an off-axial, reflective, unobstructed optical system, a large field of view and a large working distance were achieved. The free form surfaces were introduced to correct the off0axial aberrations, which made the system suitable for both the imaging system and the illumination system. The final off0sxis ophthalmic lens consists of a primary mirror and a secondary mirror, with free working distance 50 mm and the f...
