Chemical oxygen-Iodine laser (COIL) has many advantages as the second generation gas chemical laser after the first HF/DF chemical laser. The shorter wavelength and higher transmission efficiency of optical fiber make it have many important applications in the fields of military, industry and medical treatment, and has been draw great attention by many experts from all over the world in past ten years.
