Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP) and affiliated companies wowed expo visitors with their latest technological achievements at the APE2024 Asian Optoelectronics Expo, held at Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore from March 6th to March 8th.
CIOMP, part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, showcased their latest Universal Optical Design and Analysis Software and Diffraction Gratings, as well as the Light journal, one of the top Optic journals in the world.
Sharing the spotlight were five of CIOMP’s star affiliated enterprises: Changchun Champion Optics, Changguang KingCera Composites, Changguang Daqi Technology, Changguang New Vision Ultra HD Technology and JLight Semiconductor Technology. This collective display by the Changchun Optics Group captivated visitors, highlighting the comprehensive capabilities of CIOMP as a national research institution and showcasing the vibrant innovation and development of the Changchun Optics Group.
While in Singapore, Mr. Jin Hong, Secretary of the CIOMP Party Committee, and Dr. Sun Shouhong, Deputy Director of CIOMP, also led a delegation to conduct academic visits and exchange discussions at the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. These engagements fostered deep communication and collaboration between the institutions, further enhancing the international reputation and influence of CIOMP.
A leading international brand promotion and trade platform in the optoelectronics industry, APE focuses on showcasing the latest advancements in optoelectronics technology and emerging application markets in Asia. The 2024 exhibition attracted more than 400 reputable exhibitors from China, Japan, South Korea, the United States, and other countries. The showcased products spanned various fields such as optics, lasers, sensors, displays, and infrared technology. The event played a significant role in promoting in-depth communication and fostering commercial cooperation throughout the optoelectronics industry's value chain.
