On July 30, 2025, the finals of the 3rd China-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in Malaysia. The competition collected 329 projects from 23 countries and regions, including China, ASEAN 10 countries, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries. 

MENG Haoran’s team from CIOMP participated this competition with the scientific research results of "Development of a highly sensitive and ultra-high throughput Raman spectrometer based on optofluidic SERS probe for rapid in vitro testing" stood out to advance to the finals. MENG Haoran’s team finally achieved the excellent result of the runner-up in the team group.

By participating in this innovation and entrepreneurship competition, it has demonstrated the scientific research strength of CIOMP on the international stage, enhanced the popularity of CIOMP in ASEAN and even the international stage, and promoted exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN innovative entrepreneurs.
