CIOMP and iCANX Launches Interviews with Famous Scientists

Author: YU Cun |

An interview with Nobel Laureate Jean Marie Lehn is featured as the first episode of a new interview program launched by the CIOMP and iCANX.

Talking to Ms. Wang Hui, presenter of the program iCANX Story, Prof. Lenh talked about the emergence of the discipline of supermolecular chemistry and research on self-organization process, which combines chemistry and biology.

Prof. Lenh, winner of the 1987 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, advised young science workers to be adventurous and critical in their work. He also reminded them that good scientists need good mentors and friends who are also passionate about science.

Jointly designed and produced by iCANX and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the new weekly program will contain interviews with famous scientists from around the world.

As COVID-19 and international politics create obstacles for scientific cooperation and academic exchange, CIOMP and iCANX hope iCANX Story can help its views to “meet masters, share wisdom”.

iCANX Story is shown every Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Beijing Time on the iCANX platform.
