The Changguang International Forum organized by the International Cooperation Office of CIOMP was successfully held on November 26th. WANG Hui, deputy director of the International Cooperation Office, ZHANG Lingtong, deputy director of the Human Resources Office, and Dr. ZHANG Zhiyu, researcher from the Key Laboratory of Optical System Advanced Manufacturing Technology, attended the event.

The international forum invited Dr. LI Xueyan from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Russia to give an academic report entitled "Reasonable Selection of Tool Materials for Polymer Rotary Grinding Machines Based on Ultra-High Speed Water Jet Testing".

In this report, Dr. LI introduced in detail the design scheme of the ultra-high-speed water jet testing method developed for recycling polymer composite cutting tools, and proved the physical and mechanical properties of bimetallic tools and their ultra-high-speed water jet testing with theoretical and experimental methods.

Dr. ZHANG Zhiyu discussed and exchanged views with Dr. LI Xueyan on issues such as water jet technology and material selection.

This year, the International Cooperation Office has held a number of international forums and overseas job fairs, hoping to use academic conferences as a bridge and link to increase exchanges between our staffs and foreign high-level talents, explore the possibilities of international cooperation, and introduce outstanding overseas students to work in our institute to speed up the internationalization process of CIOMP.

LI Xueyan: Graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia. His research interests include material inspection technology, tool nondestructive inspection technology and ultra-high-speed water jet technology.
