According to the CiteScore, LSA ranks among top 2% journals in two disciplines, including 4/205 in Physics and Astronomy: Atomic and Molecular Physics, and Optics, and 5/259 in Materials Science: Electronic, Optical and Magnetic Materials.

Trend of LSA's CiteScore: increasing from 21.4 to 27 over the past 3 years
Recently, Elsevier released the latest CiteScore metrics. CiteScore, part of the Scopus basket of journal metrics that includes SNIP and SJR, providing an impact assessment for more than 27,200 peer-reviewed journals, book series, conference proceedings and trade journals included in the Scopus database. The CiteScore metric is recognized by the publishing community as being relatively publisher-independent. It has been widely accepted and used by researchers, librarians, editors, publishers, and authors to empower well-informed decisions.
