From September 7 to 9, the UPM Workshop 2025 Conference, jointly sponsored by Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (CIOMP), and Physics and Keio University of Japan, was successfully concluded at the academic exchange center of CIOMP.
The International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop (iNOW 2025) was successfully held in Wrocław, Poland from 21 to 31 July 2025. The workshop was jointly organized by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS), and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
On July 30, 2025, the finals of the 3rd China-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in Malaysia. The competition collected 329 projects from 23 countries and regions, including China, ASEAN 10 countries, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
On January 17, less than two weeks before Spring Festival, more than 20 Chinese and international teachers and students from Russia, Pakistan, India, Ethiopia and Nigeria gathered at the Salon of the Academic Exchange Center for a Spring Festival themed cultural celebration.

The "Rose in Science & Elite" (RISE) initiative, launched by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, held its first overseas event at the 26th Congress of the International Commission for Optics (ICO) Congress in South Africa.
